Scientist I (07-0299) Amarillo, Texas Return to Search Results|Send job to a friend Description: SALARY RANGE: $3, 921 - $6, 273 / Monthly JOB DUTIES: Works in cooperative efforts with other entities to effect successful completion of job assignments pertinent to plant mission; interfaces with external and internal customers and design engineers relevant to special-purpose weapons process equipment; interprets drawings and specifications and converts the criteria into detailed written procedures; and analyzes problems and recommends solutions. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: This position requires a knowledge of physical and/or analytical chemistry; knowledge of reading, interpreting, and understanding various forms of technical data; ability to communicate clearly and effectively through the oral and written word; proficiency with personal computers and commercial applications; ability to write technical procedures. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
