SUMMARY STATEMENT: %0AThe Inventory Control/Buyer is responsible for the day-to-day management and ordering of computer and shipping supplies for the Return and Distribution Centers which includes vendor pricing and negotiation. This position will implement new processes in the computer system categories. The Inventory Control/Buyer is responsible for proper and accurate Inventory Control processes.%0A %0A JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES, including but not limited to the following: %0A• Create purchase orders by use of software replenishment method. %0A• Monitor daily inventory transaction reports, schedules and results. %0A• Interact with associates on supply usage and expenditures. %0A• Negotiate pricing, inventory stocking, service and freight processes with vendors. %0A• Must be able to work safely and recognize unsafe handling situations. %0A• Must be able to process accurate and timely information in and through computer. %0A• Train associates in inventory control concepts and procedures.
