Asset Protection Unit, Inc seeks an overpayment recovery specialist. This position is responsible for investigating and resolving overpayment claims which APU sends to medical, dental and long term care providers on behalf of its insurance clients. This postion requires phone contact with medical, dental, and long term care providers and policyholders to resolve overpayment claims which APU initiates. The ideal candidate will have call center/customer service and/or collections experience, must be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word, be well organized and posses good communication skills, and be able to work independently. A high school diploma or GED is required, post-high school education or certification preferred. Previous experience is not required, however knowledge of insurance, benefits, and/or asset recovery claims will be helpful.
